Wim Bamps has been surrounded by fish since his childhood. For example, his parents had a fish shop in the city and in addition, his parental home was surrounded by fish ponds where people could occasionally come and fish.
After his education, he rolled into this sector naturally. When he saw the opportunity to do something with this passion in 1987, the choice was quickly made. In the beginning it was just a small business, but little by little he built up more connections, got to know new business partners and so his small business grew bigger and bigger.
In the early 1990s, Wim founded WBC Aquatic and began to explore more international markets. The first international relations were thus established in Malaysia and then in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, China, ...
In 2021, it is more important than ever before to have reliable business partners and Wim is still open to finding and helping new partners/customers/suppliers!
